Part D costs depend on the plan you pick, but some limits are the same for every plan.
In 2027, no Part D plan can have a deductible above $700, up from $615 in 2026. Every plan also caps what you pay for covered drugs at $2,400 for the year, up from $2,100 in 2026. Each plan sets its own monthly premium. The national base premium, used for things like the late penalty, is $41.33 a month in 2027, up from $38.99 in 2026. Your real cost depends on the plan and the drugs you take.
